It Happened In New York
It Happened In New York Bandra, is a beautiful restaurant situated at Chapel Road. It opened in December 2016 and I was invited to sample the food there.

It Happened In New York is a one of a kind experience in Mumbai. You rarely come across a place to eat which is as huge as this one.

It Happened In New York

The interiors of It Happened In New York are very interesting. So the entry level houses a huge community table. I absolutely love the concept as it can be used by larger groups as a whole or even individuals looking to catch a meal alone. The next level is a beautiful seating area in which you will find super stylish chairs and sofa tables along with huge windows that offer a city view.

It Happened In New York

It Happened In New York offers signature American Food. I tried quite a few items here, including their version of the Peanut-Butter-Jelly sandwich, Bagels, Spaghetti, Nachos and of course American Style Cheese Cake! And of course all of it was extremely savoury. And expect their bar man to stir up a great drink too. I tried something called the Santana Sour and absolutely enjoyed it.

I definitely recommend trying out It Happened In New York. It is a kind of fine dining experience, given the ambience. Definitely keep this place in mind for those special occasions.

Swati Snacks, Nariman Point

Swati Snacks
Nariman Point just got a lot more interesting for me because one of my most favorite places is now there – Swati Snacks. I have visited the Tardeo outlet so many times and honestly any time I need comfort food or just a place where I’m really wanting to grab a good meal, I end up going here.  So I was quite happy when I was invited to check out the Nariman Point Swati Snacks because it’s a new place with that same delicious food.

My visit to Swati Snacks at Nariman Point has been captured in this video. I would love it if you check it out.

This outlet of Swati Snacks is a lot more bigger than the Tardeo one. However the food and service stays the same – EXCEPTIONAL. If you are looking at going to Swati Snacks in a bigger group then this outlet is ideal. When I spoke to the management they told me that this particular outlet is quite similar to the Ahmedabad one.

If you’re coming here by car then you can park inside the Dalamal Towers compound or the Pay and Park in the area. The fact that Swati Snacks doesn’t have their own valet parking is kind of taken care of by this. They do have a special facility of an automatic chair for the specially abled and this kind of wheelchair accessibility provision is something you rarely ever see in restaurants in Mumbai. I would definitely count this as a major plus.

So that was it from my visit to Swati Snacks Nariman Point. I hope you enjoyed reading and watching.

Caffe Primo Review

Caffe Primo
Craving Italian food can take me places! And this time it took me to Caffe Primo – an Italian restaurant in the Fort Area in Mumbai. This place is all vegetarian. The interiors are pretty cute too. Want to know how the food was? Then watch this!

Vibe

If I were to summarize my experience at Caffe Primo, it would be that it’s a decent effort to get some good Italian food going. Their soup was lovely. The pizza was too crispy. The bruschetta was a decadent mixture, yet delicious. Tiramisu for a vegetarian one it’s a great effort.

For someone who needs a vegetarian only place, Caffe Primo can be a great option. Not too many places in the Fort area are vegetarian only. So that is a major plus point for Caffe Primo.

The interiors of Caffe Primo are also well done. You get a nice cafe kind of vibe and at the same time the place isn’t too tiny and compact either. There’s plenty of seating available and if you are in large groups, you won’t find it difficult to accomodate yourself at all.

I would visit the place again, but obviously I’ll be pretty cautious about the pizza I order! And may be I would even repeat all the stuff I loved out here.

So that was it from my visit to Caffe Primo. I hope you enjoyed watching and reading this. My food journey is pretty interesting and updated all the time on my Social Media. So make sure you are following me there. Here are the links:
