Review – Just Chill 7

I went to this place on one of my trips to matunga..and I was so surprised to see so many softy stations. And slush machines. If you’ve been here then maybe you would share this feeling!

I ate the chic choc – a huge Sunday. It was a huge canopy made with chocolate wafer and had about 3 ice cream flavors – chocolate, butterscotch and vanilla. And was topped with some whipped cream and chocolate chips and chocolate sauce. All of these things made for a super combo. I quite liked it.

I also had a bite of their softy – vanilla with loads of chocolate sauce topped in a waffle cone. And this was pretty good too.

Recommend you to try out these 2 items for sure!

Review – Amba bhavan

If you follow me, you know that matunga is my spot! Tried Amba Bhavan here for the first time and it only reinforces the fact that this area doesn’t have any place that serves mediocre food!

I tried their idlis, upma, dosa and masala milk.

Idlis – sofffffftt and how! Sambhar is ok but chutney is really good. A tad bit of spice makes it awesome.

Upma – light, fresh..

Dosa – more on the crisper side.

Masala milk – good amount of pista in it but a little over sweet.

I know I will be coming back here. And so I recommend this to you too.

Gupta Chaat Centre – Review

It was one of those off days when I didn’t feel like eating idli and dosa – yes, sometimes that happens to me! So I ate some nom nom from this place. Keep reading to know how it was!

Instead of the regular south Indian available so widely in this area, I felt like trying some chaat and sandwich. So I found this place via Zomato and decided to give it a go.

I have tried the veg toast sandwich here – like the typical mumbaiya sandwich – loads of butter, awesome chutney and piping hot.

I have also tried their chaat – pani puri, sev puri and dahi batata puri. All were really good.

The place is clean, hygienic and has so much variety – right from pizza to gola..from chaat to sandwich..Try this out if you’re in the area.

Ayyappan Idli Store Review

Matunga is probably my most favorite place to eat – there are so many great options there. Here’s another one I love – Ayyappan Idli Store. Keep reading for the complete review.

Another great find in Matunga. I tell you – probably most of my favorite places will be here! This store is always crowded and I’m sure that’s because it’s a hot favorite in the area.

The whackiest dosa you can think of is what you should try here. I’ve played safe and tried only mysore masala but looking at everyone’s order around me, I was super tempted to order so many others. The dosa is served with sambhar, coconut chutney and a red chutney seemed to be full of tomato and garlic. So yummy! And the dosa is quite huge – definitely wasn’t my cup of tea to finish it all by myself.

On my wishlist is the Chinese dosa here.

Do try this place out and I’m sure you’ll find your favorite dosa here. Value for money guaranteed.

My love for 1Tablespoon Pizza Kitchen is probably going to get unconditional ?

After having their yummy pizzas on home delivery, I decided to visit their Matunga outlet where you can sit and eat. This is mostly outdoor seating and very minimalistic.

I had their margherita pizza because that’s the one I ate earlier and loved. This time too it was fantastic. Excellent pizza base and the sauce and everything was so tasty. I don’t think that a vegetarian pizza place can get better than this.
